AlmaLinux OS 8 x86_64 vagrant box for libvirt provider

AlmaLinux is an open-source, community-driven project that intends to fill the gap left by the demise of the CentOS stable release. AlmaLinux is a 1:1 binary compatible fork of RHEL® 8 and it is built by the creators of the established CloudLinux OS.

Info: qemu-guest-agent and rsync packages installed.

Built on AlmaLinux OS 8.3 RC (Purple Manul) x86_64:

  • packer: 1.7.0-1 @Hashicorp Stable RPM repo
  • ansible: 2.9.18-1.el8 @epel
  • qemu: 15:4.2.0-34.module_el8.3.0+2048+e7a0a3ea.1 @appstream

Tested on Fedora Workstation release 33 (Thirty Three) x86_64:
